SIZE: Design is 3.7 x 1.5 cm. Mount is 4.7 x 2.2 cm (1.9 x 0.85 inches), approximately. Height is 2.5 cm (almost 1 inch).
Style ideas: In this design, the typed word “happy” has a warped shadow or reflection. To create a humorous noir effect, with a grungy gothic feel, dab jet black ink over the entire design. Or ink the distorted mirror image separately with any pale color to emphasize the shadow/reflection in a more realistic way.
Mood journaling ideas: This image hints at the substance underlying our emotional surface and outward self-image. Within that disconnect lurks the accumulation of hidden aspects of self that Carl Jung called the Shadow. If you prefer a more light-hearted interpretation, this design also playfully inverts the idea of happiness, a concept that is amorphous and ever shifting as a feeling we strive for throughout our lives.
You may see small chips or divots along the edges of the wood mount that occur during manufacturing, as well as natural variations in wood grain. These are common in handmade stamps. Each piece is unique.
Mount sizes also tend to vary a bit with each restock. TAOthings rubber stamps are produced in small batches and restocked once or twice a year. If sold out, you are welcome to request that I restock an item.
Returns will be accepted only if unused, unmodified, clean (no marks or stains), and returned with the original packaging, such as cloth pouch or paper sleeve.
