This listing is for tape SAMPLES, not whole rolls. These tapes do not have release paper. Samples are hand-wrapped onto a PVC card.

Material: washi tape

The loops have a lovely ombre effect, transitioning from one color to the next. I have only two rolls from the color series, as these were available by random selection (gachapon). If you are a fan-collector of Modaizhi, you may wish to try a bit of these. 

Quality Notes:

  • This tape is extremely thin, delicate, and prone to tearing. When removing tape from the roll, small tears form along the edges and the tape frays.
  • If you order a sample, I will do my very best to roll a sample card without damaging, but it's likely some damage will occur. And I urge you to take added care when unrolling from the sample card to avoid accidental tears.

How tape samples are prepared

Tapes that have release paper

  • Samples of tapes with release paper will be carefully rolled by hand.
  • If you buy more than one loop, your loops will usually be continuous (not cut apart), with certain exceptions.

Tapes without release paper

  • Washi tape samples without release paper are wrapped by hand onto a PVC sample card, and placed in a plastic or paper protective sleeve.
  • Hand-wrapped sample cards are made-to-order, so please allow extra time.
